The frame of stone surrounding Ethyl's headstone reads:

TENDERLY LOVED WIFE OF LUCIEN JOSEPH JEROME AND YOUNGEST DAUGHTER OF JOHN BLAKENEY ABBERT ESQUIRE WHO DIED OF FEVER AT HAVANA, WEST INDIES, HER REMAINS REPOSE HERE IN PEACE.

All his life faithful

and devoted servant of the family.

Former Blakeney land in Abbert now occupied by Daniel Binchy. Large area where fruit trees were grown at one time behind where house burned. Barn in distance.
