Westminster Abbey

 

Westminster Abbey Official Guide, page 20, shows General William Blakeney, 1st Baron Blakeney, KB, b. 1671, d. 1761. A member of a Norfolk family settled in County Limerick, he defended Stirling Castle against the Jacobites and also Fort St. Philip; made KB and created Baron Blakeney (1756).

He is buried in the in the center of the Nave (burial number 95) between the north-south columns located between the Baker and Barry Windows, which are on the left as you face the altar. Pollock is buried next to the right column (north side) and next to him Blakeney is toward the center of the tower (south) (to see a diagram).
